September 2003 - "Fall Flavorings"

Back-to-school, the end of the fiscal year, summer clearance sales - has fall snuck up on you, too?  I'd like
to extend a warm hug to my old friends and welcome all the new subscribers.  A community of people who care
about eating right and eating well appears to be growing around this site.  The site is evolving in
response and this newsletter will be a great opportunity to come and look around again.

With the change of every new season, it's good to think of things we can improve or change in our relationships,
jobs, diets, fitness programs, and ourselves.  One of the great things about fall is the abundance of vegetables
and I'm guessing that most of us don't get enough of them in our diets.  How about taking the opportunity to
eat more vegetables and enjoy the flavors of fall in a healthy way?

before digging in.  Read This Article >>

You should find it both entertaining and useful.

Recipe of the Month: Baked Winter Squash Bisque
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you grow a summer garden, here's a nice low-cal way to enjoy your end of summer harvest.   On cold winter
days when you are stuck inside, try warming up with this easy to make soup.  The smell of it baking is
wonderful and even if you aren't much of a vegetable eater, I think you'll be surprised how good this tastes.
